Here's Phil during the 200 butterfly final. He was convinced that fly was going to be his new best stroke but during this meet (Canterbury Champs) his breaststroke went really well (two firsts and a second for the three events). He did OK in this even as well, getting second but not quite a good enough time to qualify for NAGs (National Age Groups). Still, it was a very successful meet because there are some pretty good swimmers in Canterbury.
