Started 1988-08-15 at 8.30 pm.
Used 100 cm Mt John to observe Saturn.
8.30 Saturn very nice prominent double (?) band near equator.
Shadow ring-globe & globe-ring visible.
Crepe Ring easy, Cassini Division sharp.
1m telescope using 32mm eyepiece.
