These photos were taken in 2004 during my visit to Central Australia to observe a transit of Venus. We also toured around the area looking at all the famous features such as Uluru (Ayer's Rock) and the Olgas. Observing a transit isn't really a conference, of course, but it just sort of fitted in this area.
