![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Meeting HouseThis Maori meeting house was built in 1940 to celebrate 100 years since the signing of the Treaty. It has elaborate Maori carving along the front and inside, but practicality seemed to dictate more modern building methods behind the scenes with weatherboard cladding and a corrugated iron roof!
