Sunset Bird

I used manual focus to get the distant hills in correct focus and also aperture priority set to about f/8 to get a good depth of field. The light was relatively low so the camera selected quite a long exposure time - long enough to blur the bird in flight at the top-right of the photo, which is quite an interesting effect - especially because the rest of the photo is so sharp. The Canon G6's lens handled the high contrast on this image very nicely.
