Otago University Building

The Otago University Clocktower Building was part of the original University and with its green lawns and trees in blossom along the front is a favourite subject for visiting photographers.

This is a digital photo taken with my CoolPix at 2048x1536 resolution. It is worth capturing extra pixels and down-sampling the image in Photoshop to reduce noise and compression artifacts. Some sharpening might be necessary after the size change but its important not to over-sharpen and create a new set of artifacts!
