Wingatui Viaduct

The first of many viaducts on the trip, and also the largest - its 197 meters long and 47 meters high (the same height as the famous Queenstown bungie bridge). It crosses the Mullocky Stream. It was built (along with the first part of the railway) in the 1880s completely by hand. This photo is looking back towards the viaduct shortly after crossing it.
