Museum: Huayangosaurus taibaii

The dinosaurs were exhibited in low light (to make the whole atmosphere more ominous, I guess) so getting good photos was tricky. This one was just right - the dinosaur bones are just lit, the head is well lit, and the human observers are in the background shadows.

Pronounced: hwar-yang-go-SAW-rus tie-by-eye
Diet: herbivore (plant eater)
Era: 180 million years ago
Height: 1.5 meters
Features: bony plates might have helped regulate temperature
