Bright aurora covering almost 180° in south.
In south obscured by cloud which cleared by about 21.00.
20.33 Pale green curtain to 45°. Yellow rays to 30°. Mostly in SW.
20.44 Getting brighter and more rays up to 45°.
21.03 Less structured, diffuse glow with some embedded rays
21.21 Very bright curtains low in SW developed into bright rays.
21.25 Strong flaming to past zenith. One of the best displays for years!
21.39 Less intense and moving towards SW. Still strong flaming.
21.44 Flaming mainly overhead, well past zenith. Quieter in south.
21.51 Quieter periods then arcs and flaming from south up to the zenith.
22.21 No further activity apart from diffuse glow in south.
