Iraq

Entry 14, on 2004-08-12 at 08:08:13 (Rating 4, Politics)

With ongoing fighting in Najaf and a big push about to start from the Americans we could be excused for thinking that the war isn't over, like George W Bush told us all those months ago.

In fact if you look at the casualties on both sides you can see it is far from over. Is Iraq any better off? In some ways it is, but in many ways it isn't.

Even if Iraq was better off overall (and I don't think it is), its still no excuse for the Americans and their supporters starting a war where they had no right. Well they did start it. The question is, how do they finish it?

Another conspiracy theory! The problem is that, with Bush's leadership, they all seem almost reasonable. I've wondered how Osama bin Laden has managed to avoid capture. Maybe this answers the question!

I reckon they captured Osama a long time ago. They are waiting to release this News when it is most convenient. Probably around Election Time. Have you been to www.loosechange911.com. If you haven't you really must and watch the documentary!

The cause for all the so called terrorism is the catalyst. Israel appeared, and the occupied countries bordering this stolen land mass fought back. As the UK and US pumped billions of dollars into their new friends in the Middle East, the locals who were fighting for their lives and land became the terrorist we know today. So... is war the way forward?

Over thousands of years, we as men have gone to war. So maybe it is the way forward, and if so should we support it? Or Are these people who we call terrorists the victims here and we should be going to war for them? I am not saying I support terrorism, but I am also not saying I support the US and the occupation in Palestine.

Am am saying this, and excuse my french,
Bombing for peace is like f**king for virginity.
And somewhere in Texas a village is missing its idiot.
And Macintosh is best and Widows is crap.

Yes, I agree with a lot of what you have said. Especially the bit about Macintosh! BTW, the www.loosechange911.com site doesn't appear to be on-line right now, although a DNS entry for that site exists.

Hello, try this, it seems it is either so busy its crashed or they have been hacked.

go to google.com and search 911 in videos. Its the most downloaded movie to date. You may need to download the Google player to view it - nice interface for the Mac.

Ah yes, the enlightenment you get from using an Apple Mac. I feel sorry for all those Windows users out there, its like they are all driving Robin Reliants (3 wheelers) but are tricked into believing its a good thing.

I guess believing Windows is best is like finding a comparison between George Bush and lies and denying it.

OK, I can view the video fine now. I'll have to find some time to have a look.

Nice comparison between the three wheeler and Windows! I think people are beginning to see what a pile of junk Windows really is now. The continuing delays with Vista, never ending Windows viruses, and new Intel Macs are converting a lot of people away from the dark side!
