Clarkson Messed Up Discussion

This short discussion is about an article about Jeremy Clarkson, who "admitted" that he "completely messed up" when criticising Meghan Markle.

Me You apologize and they cancel you anyway. Don't know why he apologized in the first place. That was a mistake.

Supporter Interesting headline, thought they were talking about vile Meghan Markle then I realised it was about Clarkson's comments.

Me They wouldn't try to cancel Meghan. She's a PoC and a woman, apparently, so she's safe.

Supporter PoC or PoS, and/or both?

I honestly didn't think of Meghan as being a person of colour when I used to watch "Suits". That was before Suits got too repetitive, predicatable and politically correct, so I stopped watching it. By the way, she wasn't a very good actor, either.

Me Well, both, I guess. TBH I never even thought of her as a PoC until they started the claims of racism. She's barely any darker than me when I get a bit of sun... which admittedly isn't very often since I'm a computer geek!
