Change Columns Shown in Open Dialog

When the open dialog (the one that gives you a list of possible files to open after using the Open command) is displayed you can choose which fields are displayed in list view, just like you can in the Finder.

Note: You can choose how the icons are being displayed (icon, list, columns) in the menu near top-left of the Open window. This tip applies to list view.

Just right-click on one of the column headings (Name, Size, etc) and select from the list in the pop-up menu.

It should remember what you have selected, at least for that app.
