iOS UI Tips (iPhone X)

Hold down spacebar to move to trackpad mode. This allows you to move the cursor anywhere in a block of text. Move your finger over keyboard area to move the insertion cursor. Tap with second finger to set the selection start point.

Tap at the top of screen (either side of the notch on iPhone X, etc) while scrolling to scroll to top of a long page.

On devices with no home button: flick up from bottom to return to page 1 of icons on the main screen.

On devices with no home button: swipe left or right on the home indicator bar (the bar at the bottom of the screen) to move to previous or next app.

To search in many apps: Drag down to see the search box, which is above the first element in a list.

Note: These were introduced with the iPhone X, and also work in similar, newer phones.
