Reset Password

Reset master password for older versions of OSX

Boot computer and hold the Apple/Command and S key.
Wait for Terminal to appear
Release the keys
In Terminal, type: /sbin/mount -uaw
Press enter
Type: rm /var/db/.applesetupdone
Press enter
Type: reboot
Press enter
This will ask you create a new admin account when you reboot.

Note: works for 10.4.
