One of the nice things about Dunedin is how much greenery we have right in the middle of the city. When you are in the Fraser's Gully Reserve its hard to believe that the city is just on the other side of the hill. This is Nicole and Phillip sitting in front of the Kaikourai Stream which runs through the reserve.

Getting the exposure right with photos taken in shade with patches of full sun coming through is almost impossible - the difference between light and shade is just too much. Here the sky was a bit cloudy so the result wasn't too bad. A bit of non-linear correction using Photoshop's "Curves" function is also useful!
