Nelson Sunset

A colorful sunset looking over the sea from Nelson. The gradual change in colour from red-orange on the horizon to deep purple-blue further up the sky is particularly nice. Apart from a few lights the land is black, which emphasises the sky even more. The trick with these photos is to get the time right - not too late and not too early - so that the colours are at their best.
