Waihola Swans

On a cool, foggy, frosty morning I photographed these swans swimming on Lake Waihola. I noticed them as I drove past, so I had to hit the brakes and go back. You should always be cautious when driving if you are following a photographer!

This photo has a nice soft effect because of the mist, and the subdued, pastel colours give it a restful, subtle look. becuase it was a still, frosty morning the reflecions in the lake are also perfect.
