Bull Creek

Bull Creek is about 40 kilometers south of Dunedin and is best reached by the coast road which is like a little scenic adventure in itself. At Bull Creek there are sand beaches, rock pools, and bush walks through a Southern Rata forest.

Many people don't like to take photos with strong light behind the subject but it can be very effective as long as there is still some light illuminating the foreground. I often use fill-in flash to do this but in this case there was enough natural to achieve a good result.
