The colour was very dark chocolate brown, with a strong pale brown head, there was some yeast in bottle. There was a strong sharp whiskey aroma. This had strong whiskey, and strong chocolate woody flavours, with a smooth medium body. This was an interesting beer, but it would take a bit of getting used to!

Note 1 I am not really a beer expert (just an enthusiastic amateur), so please don't take my recommendations as anything more than a rough guide to these beers. I can take no responsibility if you buy a lot, on my recommendation, and then regret it!

Note 2 You may not agree with my evaluation of these beers as a lot of this is quite subjective. I tend to put a lot of emphasis on freshness and intense characteristic flavours and bouquet, so if you disagree you might just have different priorities.
