Copperhead Autumnal Red Rye

Tasted:17 Mar 2017
Name:Copperhead Autumnal Red Rye (522)
Type:Red Ale
Producer:Tuatara
Region:Wellington
Rating:ok
Web Site:Not available

The colour was quite deep brownish copper-red, with a light-medium frothy head, and light carbonation. The aroma had quite sweet spicy malt. This was a full fruity malty style, slightly woody, with a light bitter dry finish. This beer was quite complex fruit, with spice, and hop balance.

Note 1 I am not really a beer expert (just an enthusiastic amateur), so please don't take my recommendations as anything more than a rough guide to these beers. I can take no responsibility if you buy a lot, on my recommendation, and then regret it!

Note 2 You may not agree with my evaluation of these beers as a lot of this is quite subjective. I tend to put a lot of emphasis on freshness and intense characteristic flavours and bouquet, so if you disagree you might just have different priorities.
